Kiva wins 300,000 US$ grant

Kiva has achieved the third place in the American Express Members project vote (see earlier coverage “Kiva celebrates 3rd birthday“) and wins a 300,000 US$ grant. In a “Thank you” post Lyndsey Erikson, Kiva writes:

This grant money will help Kiva to enable $6 million in loans to an additional 12,000 developing world entrepreneurs over the next ten years.
